TAP Portugal, a Star Alliance member, Will Deploy EveryMundo’s airTRFX® Solution to Increase Direct-Channel Revenue and Organic Traffic
TAP Portugal, a leading European carrier serving 76 destinations in 29 countries, is partnering with EveryMundo, provider of performance marketing products and services for airlines that drive direct channel growth anywhere, to use the company’s airTRFX® digital performance infrastructure solution to enhance TAP’s online visibility and direct channel growth.
The deployment of EveryMundo’s flagship technology, airTRFX®, will enable TAP to easily create and maintain unique, high-performance, dynamic landing pages for every destination and route they fly, in every language and every country. TAP will have the ability to productize the airline’s entire inventory in the same way as Kayak, Expedia, or Amazon: a page for every product to support the carrier’s cross-channel marketing efforts.
With online travel bookings expected to grow to more than $162 billion in 2016, and with 50% of those bookings made via online travel agencies (OTAs), the time is now for airlines to invest in and implement stronger performance marketing solutions and services. According to EveryMundo, airline brand equity does not translate into digital power.
EveryMundo’s leading Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution, the only platform of its kind built specifically for airlines, provides the necessary performance online infrastructure – without the need for additional IT resources – to improve conversion in the direct channel. The deployment will enable TAP to:
- Create a digital infrastructure across the airline’s entire route network – centralizing its offerings and developing cross-channel visibility/management
- Empower the airline’s marketing team to focus on targeted strategies to acquire qualified traffic and engage website visitors – ultimately converting more traffic into revenue
- Integrate the solution seamlessly into TAP’s existing website and infrastructure, without the need for additional technology investment or specialized IT support
“We are thrilled to be working with a partner that has such extensive experience in search engine optimization for the airline industry,” said Tiago Phillimore, Head Digital & Innovation at TAP. “Not only does EveryMundo’s airTRFX® product offer the perfect solution to our challenges in the direct channel, but the company also has a wide range of consulting and support services to help us as we grow. We appreciate the cooperation with EveryMundo and their dedicated support during the implementation phase, and look forward to working with them as we enhance our online and e-commerce strategy during the upcoming years.”
